The National Institute of Packaging, Handling, & Logistics Engineers (NIPHLE) is an assemblage of professionals whose interests in the complex and diverse practice of distribution and logistics is a common bond. The Institute was constituted on August 8, 1956 in Washington, D.C. with the objective of improving communication between practitioners in these related areas of endeavor. The degree to which success has been achieved is measured in the growth and diversity of membership which has resulted.

2012 Annual NIPHLE Conference
2012 NIPHLE Conference & Golf Tournament was held this month in our nations capital. To all the NIPHLE members that attended the conference thank you for your participation. This years conference has featured over 25 vendors & Government representatives. Please look for new links to appear soon on the left side of the menu. We will display presentations from vendors and possibly videos on their presentation at the conference.

NIPHLE Announces Honored Guest at NIPHLE Conference Awards Ceremony March 27th, 2012
Major General Wallace C. Arnold has completed over fifty years of public service, service in private industry and higher education. He is a native Virginian who was born in Washington, D. C. and spent the early years of his life near Warrenton, Virginia. Upon graduation from Hampton Institute, now Hampton University, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant and awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education.
